I wish I have heard about Rails earlier. I got to know about Rails and it's cool new features by my Rails developer friend in a trip.

When I returned to home, I started learning it and developed few web apps, and finally I started an open source project called deviser.club, and it went pretty awesome.

Nowadays, I am working on that project, because of it I am getting pretty nice job offers as well, but I want to learn few more things in a free way.
